Latocha, Emilia Julita

A financier, accountant and a financial and business advisor. In 2007 she defended a thesis on Accounting and Finance at the Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Krakowie (Cracow University of Economics). In 2007-2009 she took a post-graduate course in Corporate Finance Management in the Krakowska Szkoła Biznesu (Cracow School of Business) at the Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Krakowie.

Professional Experience

Since 2006, Emilia Latocha has been cooperating with international foreign capital companies in the fields of accounting and finance. In 2006 and 2007, she gathered experience in the outsourcing company Capgemini Polska Sp. z o.o., working in an international, US-oriented accounting environment. She co-authored the financial and accounting procedures for OVOTZ Design Lab Sp. z o.o. in 2007, and actively participated in the financial management of the company, which led to her appointment as Proxy for OVOTZ Design Lab Sp. z o.o. in 2009. In 2007-2009 she cooperated closely with Polish and German companies of GD&K Group and Schwitzke & Partner Group. Together with PM Doradztwo Gospodarcze Sp. z o.o. she participated in the advisory projects on the obtaining of European Union funds, primarily for the Program Operacyjny Kapitał Ludzki (Human Capital Programme) in 2010. Also in 2010, she completed her work on Economic Strategy Assumption for Zakład Gospodarki Komunalnej Sp. z o.o. w Wieliczce( Wieliczka Utility Company) in close cooperation with MRDG Michał Regulski. As of September of 2010, she has been collaborating with Benetton Retail Poland Sp. z o.o. and other Benetton Group companies worldwide.

Since 2005 she has participated in numerous workshops and training events in accounting and finance, on subjects such as: Currency Risk Management, Option Strategies, External Sources of Financing for Businesses, Legal and Practical Aspects of Tax and Fiscal Audits, Domestic and Foreign Turnover in VAT with Special Regard to Changes, Data Analysis in MS Excel 2007, Salaries and Personnel – Working Time, Bonuses and Absence Settlement and Financial Analysis in MS Excel – Accountancy.
